Wynn Golf Club
Las Vegas, NV
Location
Wynn Golf Club is the only golf course on the Las Vegas Strip — it sits in the heart of the city, on the historic grounds of the original Desert Inn course. The course is part of the broader Wynn Las Vegas resort, with the hotel, casino, dining, and spa all walking distance from the first tee. Check-in is temporarily at Encore near Espresso Café while the clubhouse expansion is underway.
The course
The course was originally renovated by Tom Fazio in 2005 and redesigned again in 2019 by Fazio and his son Logan. It plays as a par-70 at 6,722 yards — championship length without sprawling outside the Strip footprint that hems it in.
What viewers see on broadcast won't look like a typical desert course. Streams, ponds with koi, waterfalls, and mature trees turn the layout into a contained oasis inside the city. The signature visual is the waterfall behind the 18th green, which is also where YGT's $1 million stroke play championship will be decided.
Fazio called the place "a very distinct, unique, one-of-a-kind place" — fair, given it's the only course on the Strip.
Two things players (and viewers) will notice on every round: PGA-member caddies are included, and the green fee covers complimentary Callaway club rentals.
What to expect
This is the season's finale, and the venue is built for it. No teams, no scramble, no alternate shot — just individual stroke play for the $1 million purse, with the 17th Man joining the full-time roster on the tee sheet. The 18th gives the broadcast the closing image it needs.
Visiting fans don't have to plan a separate trip — the course is on the same property as the rest of the resort, so the round can sit inside a normal Vegas stay.
